Can, or does osteoarthritis cause fatigue, feeling feverish and generally ill? I'm new to this. TY?

I am 43 and have had 2 spinal fusions for severe scoliosis; the original surgery being in 1981 when the Harrington rod instrumentation was placed. The second was this past April due to there being no cushioning between the two bottom vertebrae. My osteoarthritis is in both my hips, and lower spine area. The pain at times will slowly radiate down in to my legs. I was recently diagnosed with the osteoarthritis. It is excruciatingly painful, seems relentless at times, and has moved me at times to tears. It feels as if the pain is getting worse with time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
