Dead Rising 2 Meet the Contestants mission bike?

I skipped the side mission "Meet the Contestants" and I realized it would take away the opportunity for me to combine chainsaws and other things on the motor bike. Is there any way i can put chainsaws and other attachments on another bike without having that side mission completed? or do i need the bike from "Meet the Contestants"?
