I'll be taking botany next semester and i was wondering...?

along with ecology of weeds and invasive species, and then others later on. I'm going to try to get a good introduction to it in my spare time so I have a good foundation of it beforehand. I've got plants of arizona, shrubs and trees of the southwest uplands, and how to identify plants by HD Harrington. Any of you have any advice for a beginner about to teach himself as much as possible?
