I want to do more pageants...Help!?

So I was just in a pageant and there were 25 contestants. I thought I did pretty well until they announced top 10 (actually 11) and my name wasn't called. I hadn't seen anyones interview but some girls in the top 10 messed up their speech's and one started crying when she messed up. Not to mention my 2 best friends that were in the pageant with me both got top 10. I was very upset and alittle confused. I want to do more pageants but I don't want this to happen again.
