Isn't Simon cowell acting strange tonight in tge finals?

I mean he is extremely rude and straightforward otherwise but after the fixing allegations on him yesterday, now after every performance, he is asking every contestant who selected the song etc. I think he want to indirectly tell people " hay look I have no hand in all this"...
